Hi everybody, this is me again, Jana with Babycaremag.com and Babyprepping.com and today we’re here with February’s Ecocentric Mom Box. It’s February, love is in the air and I hope this box will be filled with love for me. This is a monthly subscription box as we have mentioned before. They start at $32.99 a month.
I have to apologize, I think in my last video I said something about $27 and that is because whenever I look at the website and see the different boxes that they offer, they do offer one time boxes that you can gift or buy for yourself. They do have one that I believe says it’s $26.99 but I think that the monthly subscription starts at $32.99, just so you guys are aware of that.
So take a look of what’s inside of February’s box. Okay, so this is new. This month there’s a little envelope in here. It says, “packed with love for you and your baby.” Oh, and there’s some cards in here. It says, something yummy, something practical, I like where this is headed. Something for baby, something else for baby and something pampering.
The first product we have here is a chewable mom jewelry, it’s a necklace and it’s by Itzy Ritzy Teething Happens. It looks very pretty. It’s pink, gray and pearl white. They have different beads, there’s a signature Itzy Ritzy logo bead. They’re 100% food grade silicone, non-toxic, they have a breakaway plastic clasp for added safety, but I think it’s also easy to open and close it. It has an opening here where you can touch it. It feels really soft, just like a chewing toy. Kind of not soft, firm, but also silicone soft so that is very exciting.
Next, we have Stacy Ogden’s homemade winter breeze toilet deodorizer and cleaner fizzy tablets. There’s 14 in here. Let’s see what this says. Okay, so it’s for deodorizing and a cleaner as it says in cleaning, drop one tablet into the toilet bowl before use to release fragrance and decrease odors during use. I have never used anything like this before. I have seen sprays, I think maybe in TV commercials and at the store that I have wanted to try but I haven’t bought it yet, so this is a great option.
It is vegan and gluten-free and it’s food grade so it’s safe to be around your small children. And for cleaning it says drop it into the toilet bowl, scrub the toilet, and you can leave it in until the next use or you can flush it. Oh, and it says you can also use it to scrub sinks, showers, stoves, ovens and more. So this is definitely an all-arounder, but I think the tablet shape is perfect for the toilet so that’s going to be fun to try.
Next, we have an all-natural perfume, Daughter Moon by Gypsy Soul Organics. And it’s all natural, floral, woodsy, handmade in Austin, Texas with rose and roseroot oils, ivory leaf, coconut oil, and water. It doesn’t say water here, but let’s see how it smells. This is very mildly floral and I really like it. It’s very mild and very calming so I like this one a lot.
Let’s see if we have a card for this. And we do, it’s a botanical perfume priced at $19.99. Perfect for your busy lifestyle. Use as a natural organic daily perfume, a calming room spray, a soothing bedlinen mister or to spritz during yoga. I can totally sniff, it’s very relaxing. And meditation for a blissful practice. I’m very excited about this perfume.
Next, we have Jack N’ Jill natural toothpaste. It’s in a blackcurrant and calendula, fluoride-free with certified organic flavor and calendula. So, with toothpaste, my daughter is very picky about the taste. This is closed so I’m not going to open this yet. And I hope this is gonna taste good, because if it doesn’t taste good my daughter is not going to use it.
So that is a big factor for me when I buy toothpaste because I always have to have her try it first and if I know that she likes one I do not tend to buy another one because I don’t know if she’s going to like it or not. So we’ll see how that’s gonna go. Let’s see if we have a card for it in here. And we do, it’s priced at $6.99 so that’s great.
Next, we have a bottle strap. It’s from Ah Goo Baby and it’s purple-y and green I like the colors. It grips items and secures to strollers, high chairs, car seats, grocery carts, basically to anything when you want it attached to. So that’s great, and let’s see if we have a card for this one. We do, and it’s priced at $10.49. Obviously a must-have for moms on the go.
And it’s washable, durable and non-toxic fabrics. It does also say that has matching patterns that coordinate with all Ah Goo Baby product lines. I have actually not heard of this brand before so I will check this out because I like the colors and the pattern.
And last but not least, we have these pouches in here. And I think this is pronounced Loqi, a brand. Things to pack, pack small go big, and then it says something in French that I cannot read. But there’s a website, loqistore.com. They’re very vibrant colors so it’s not like you can not see this in your luggage or in your bags, even in your diaper bag or if you go on trips or even just on a day trip, these come in very handy.
And the fun thing about these besides the colors is that they have all these items listed on there. So on here, they have passport, pen, glasses, dynamite, interesting. Deodorant, money, very important. And what else do we have? Camera, toothbrush, and so on. Phone, phone charger, reading glasses.
It’s a layered fruit bar from Pure Organics that feels and looks very delicious. Pineapple and passion fruit. And because I saw this card here it’s priced at $1.09. A triple layered, dual flavored sweet-tart treat that is certified organic, non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, kosher and made with fruit and veggie juices and purees. I know this brand and I do like to buy products from it. I have not seen this bar in the store yet so I am excited to try this one myself and not to give it to my daughter.
Great box, great variety, I’m very happy with the selection of my products and I’m excited to use them right away. So I’m going to put on the perfume and eat the fruit bar. Thanks for watching guys, please leave us any comments or questions if you have any, and I’ll see you again next month. Bye-bye.
