Hi, it’s me, Jana, with babycaremag.com and babyprepping.com, and today we’re back with the Ecocentric Mom Box. This is the Ecocentric Mom Box for August, and I’m super excited to take a look inside and see what surprises await for me this month. This is our favorite subscription box. It’s perfect for moms, expecting moms, for moms with babies, or just for ladies who want to get pampered once a month.
We have had a variety of different products, but they usually have something for mom and something for baby, so it’s a really perfect mix. Plus, all of the products are eco-friendly, natural, organic, so it’s really good for you and your baby. So, let’s take a look into August’s Ecocentric Mom Box.
All right, let’s start out with this new little card that we had for the first time last month. And I think this is a really good idea from Ecocentric Mom. I think they, it took them a little while to get to this point, because they had different cards with the products and the values, but that didn’t seem to work out every time.
So, this card says, “Welcome to this month’s “Ecocentric Mom Box,” and then there’s a link on here that tells you the products that are in your box and the value of them, so this is really good. Plus, you can order from them, from their website, so if you like the products that are in your box, please go ahead and order from their website, since that’s the easiest way to get the products. So, there’s the link. As usual, we will provide you with the full lineup, with all the products that are in the box, plus the full value and then the total value of the box so you can get an idea of how much you’re really getting out of this box.
First up, something to eat. You Love Veggies spinach and kale portable superfood snack. Spinach is very good for you, plus it tastes very good. Kale, well, some people love it, some people hate it, but this seems like a good option for on-the-go.
It has 45 calories, it’s made with mango pulp, banana puree, spinach, kiwi, pineapple, kale, and a few other small things. But this has half a cup of fruit and veggies inside, and yeah, 45 calories, 2.5 grams of fiber, and it’s made with premium organic ingredients. Yum!
Next up, a little pouch with two silicone, oh, okay. Okay, I should’ve looked at this link before, so now this is the downside to this. I’m not sure what exactly this is, or who it’s made of. But, it looks like this is a sippy cup, silicone top for any type of bottle, or any type of cup. So, any type of cup, you can make a sippy cup with this little top.
It’s easy to clean, it’s super light. I mean, you can literally smoosh it and fold it, and it doesn’t take up pretty much any space. And this one is a top that makes it a, basically a kid’s cup that you get at the restaurant. So, this is perfect with a straw. Very cool, I like it. This goes from, you know, age 12 months to up to five years, I wanna say, at least. So, that is really cool.
We do have some beauty products. One is a lavender shortbread cookie scrub by Marama Naturals. That looks really good. We have had I think one or two products in the past boxes from Marama Naturals. Ooh, this smells so lavender-y. I really like this, and I love scrubs. That is like my beauty and relaxing routine is using a sugar scrub, and that’s pretty much what this is. “An indulgent, exfoliating treat for tired skin. “Ideas for happy usage: scoop between fingers “and apply to wet skin, and gently massage “in a circular motion. “Focus on rough areas.” Perfect, something for mom.
Next, something else for mom. Skin restore Derma-E, advanced peptides and collagen serum. Something for my tired skin. It’s 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Perfect. And there’s how much in here? Let’s see. It doesn’t say. It’s probably like a test size, but awesome. Awesome for me, awesome for my face.
Next up, we have a Sitti loofah olive oil soap. Made with virgin olive oil, purified water, and lye. So, oh, cute. This is, there is a hand-written best used by date on there, and it says who it’s made by. Handmade by Emma. So that’s fun, also a fun gift.
And then I believe this is gonna be our last product, and it’s, again, from Marama Naturals. It’s a leave-in untangler and conditioning spray for your little ones. “A light and moisturizing spray conditioner “to leave hair detangled and smooth.” Fun, so, I mean, if you have a girl, you’ll need detangler. I need a detangler, but I need the really harsh ones to get through my hair, but this is perfect for little girls. I really love the design of this brand. I mean, it’s so neutral. You know, when you have it out in your bathroom, it doesn’t drive you crazy because it’s so plain and white. I mean, I really like that for my bathroom because it kind of calms me down when I don’t have too many crazy colors standing around. So, that’s fun.
Okay, let’s do a quick recap of this month’s products. First, we had a little veggie snack by You Love Veggies, spinach and kale for on-the-go, 45 calories.
Then, this genius idea that I haven’t really seen before. This is like to-go sippy cup and straw cup tops for any cup, really. I believe that these, silicone stretches very far, so a regular size cup, and you’re good to go. Your little one can drink without spilling left and right.
Then we had the lavender shortbread cookie scrub by Marama Naturals. Perfect, smells so good. I mean, total lavender inside here, you can tell.
Then, something for my skin, another product for my skin, advanced peptides and collagen serum by Derma-E. Perfect for me, I will make sure to use this tonight.
Then a little soap by Sitti, handmade loofah olive oil soap.
And, last by not least, a leave-in detangler and conditioning spray by Marama Naturals for your little one. It’s paraben-fre, cruelty-free, and artificial fragrance-free, so perfect for your little girl.
